The Quick•Point® zero point clamping system is used not only in manual production, but also in unmanned, automated production. The zero point clamping system can be opened and closed both via the machine tool and via the robot gripper. Either by a mechanical operation of the lever carried out by the robot or via the gripper's pneumatic interface. A media feed-through within the machine is therefore not necessary. Thanks to a repeatability of < 0.005 mm, it offers the best conditions for consistent quality in automated manufacturing.
