Working Together to Holistically Advance Machining Processes

HAM and LANG Technik are united by a shared commitment to designing manufacturing processes that are practical, efficient, and reliable. A particular manifestation of this partnership is the HAM Performance Center (HPC). Here, HAM, together with selected technology partners, comprehensively maps the process chain from digital tool modeling to final machining on the machine. LANG is firmly integrated as a technology partner: The clamping technology is used both on the machine and in simulation to replicate real-world clamping situations.

The HPC thus creates a practical environment in which tooling, clamping, and other manufacturing technologies can be examined within the overall process. For HAM and LANG, this offers the opportunity to combine their experience and application expertise, test processes under real-world conditions, and collaborate on specific manufacturing tasks. Ultimately, this also benefits their mutual customers, who can draw on proven, real-world experience resulting from the interaction of different technologies.
