LANG Technik USA officially opened the doors to its new headquarters and showroom in Hartland, Wisconsin, bringing together customers, partners, and manufacturing professionals for a one-day event focused on practical automation, connected manufacturing workflows, and real-world process optimization.

Rather than creating a traditional open house atmosphere, the event was designed around a simple idea: showcasing complete manufacturing solutions in action. Throughout the day, visitors experienced live demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on discussions centered around improving efficiency, increasing process reliability, and supporting modern CNC machining environments.

Bringing connected manufacturing solutions together

The new facility served as a platform for manufacturers to explore how workholding, automation, CAD/CAM systems, tooling, machine tools, and control technology can work together as part of an integrated production process. Across the showroom, guests moved between partner presentation areas, automation demonstrations, and application-focused discussions with industry experts.

A major part of the event was the collaboration between LANG Technik USA and a strong lineup of manufacturing technology partners, each contributing its own expertise and perspective to the overall experience. Companies including Autodesk, Blaser, Haimer, Heidenhain, Hermle, Ingersoll, Lehmann, Mastercam, Metalcraft, Rego-Fix, Sumitomo, and Tebis presented technologies and solutions covering a wide range of modern manufacturing requirements.

Visitors were able to see firsthand how different technologies interact in practical production environments. From CAD/CAM programming and machine tool integration to cutting tools, rotary tables, toolholding systems, coolant technology, and automation strategies, the event highlighted the importance of connected manufacturing processes rather than isolated products.

Real-world manufacturing solutions in action

Several live demonstrations throughout the day focused on automation workflows and practical machining applications. Discussions frequently centered around topics such as reducing setup times, increasing spindle uptime, improving repeatability, and creating stable processes for lights-out manufacturing. Instead of theoretical presentations, the event emphasized practical implementation and real-world production challenges faced by manufacturers every day.

The showroom environment encouraged direct conversations between visitors, partners, and technical experts. Guests had the opportunity to ask detailed questions, compare manufacturing approaches, and exchange ideas with professionals from different areas of the industry. The result was an atmosphere that felt collaborative, technical, and solution-oriented throughout the entire day.

Events like this are important because they bring different technologies and perspectives together in one place,” said Patrizio De Pinto, Managing Director of LANG Technik. “Modern manufacturing is no longer about individual components alone. Customers are looking for complete process solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and long-term productivity. Bringing together strong partners and practical applications creates real value for manufacturers.”

The event also demonstrated the continued growth and investment of LANG Technik USA within the North American market. The new Hartland facility provides expanded opportunities for customer support, technical demonstrations, collaboration with partners, and future manufacturing events focused on automation and process optimization.

While weather conditions throughout the day brought periods of rain and strong winds, the atmosphere inside and around the event remained highly positive. A special contribution came from Kegel’s Inn, Milwaukee’s most authentic German restaurant, which provided catering and refreshments for guests and partners throughout the day.

Collaboration, networking, and industry exchange

Despite the challenging conditions, the Kegel’s Inn team delivered outstanding hospitality and helped create a welcoming environment for everyone attending the event. Visitors were treated to a steady supply of food, coffee, cake, pastries, donuts, and refreshments throughout the day, adding to the relaxed and collaborative atmosphere between presentations and demonstrations.

Another defining aspect of the event was the strong level of interaction between attendees and presenters. Rather than simply walking through product displays, visitors were encouraged to engage directly with applications and discuss manufacturing challenges openly with the participating companies. Many conversations focused on practical topics such as automation integration, process stability, setup reduction, and increasing machine utilization in high-mix production environments.

The combination of live technology, practical demonstrations, and open technical exchange reflected the broader direction of the manufacturing industry itself. Increasingly, manufacturers are seeking partners who understand complete workflows and can support long-term production goals rather than offering isolated products alone.

Throughout the day, the new LANG Technik USA facility functioned not only as a showroom, but also as a collaborative space where manufacturers could explore new ideas, discuss current production challenges, and gain practical insights from experienced professionals across multiple disciplines.

As the event concluded, the overall response from visitors and partners highlighted the growing importance of connected manufacturing solutions and collaborative industry relationships.

A strong step forward for LANG Technik USA

We are extremely grateful for the support from our partners, customers, and everyone who took the time to attend the event,” said Jon Dobosenski, General Manager of LANG Technik USA. “The positive feedback throughout the day showed how valuable these personal interactions and real-world demonstrations are for manufacturers. This grand opening was not only an important milestone for LANG Technik USA, but also a strong step forward in continuing to support the North American manufacturing industry with practical solutions, trusted partnerships, and long-term commitment.”
